Governance and Human Rights Sexual Health Rights for Women & Girls

Hivos is an international development organization guided by humanist values. Together with citizens and their organizations, Hivos aims to contribute towards just, inclusive and life sustaining societies where people have equal access to opportunities, rights and resources. They work in partnership with others in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America on three impact areas: Civic Rights in a Digital Age; Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and Climate Justice. Their approach is solution driven, and they build wider movements for change by amplifying and connecting voices.

We Lead, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is an innovative and far-reaching program that aims to strengthen the influence and position of young women whose sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRH-R) are neglected the most. It targets young women and adolescent girls who: live with HIV; face vulnerability and discrimination; live with a disability; and/or are affected by displacement.
